Montreal Pop-Up Shop all October!

The end of the summer season is synonymous with many things. For instance, as we say goodbye to heat, shorts and outdoor pools, we're also welcoming (some more reluctant than others) cooler days, fuzzy sweaters, and of course, the fall of brightly coloured leaves. While Fall is wonderful for all of these things, it's also home to our favourite day of the year. Can you take a wild guess? Yes, Halloween is just around the corner, waiting to knock at our doors, showcasing tricks and treats.

We love Fall and of course, Halloween, because it gives us yet another reason to wear our our cozy-cuddly onesies. Wearing a kigurumi on Halloween is great--you keep warm on those trick-or-treating nights, stand out in any crowd at any party, and they are so easy to slip in and out from. No need to spend tedious amounts of time with makeup and accessories--that's unless you enjoy dressing it up like we sometimes do.

Sure, picking the perfect onesie for Halloween is a tedious task in itself, but luckily we're here to help you out. If you live around the Montreal, QC area, our Halloween pop-up shop will be open every day of October. That means you get the chance to look through our whole collection in person, and try them on! If one (or more) captivate your heart, you can leave with one the same day. No need to waste time waiting for your package to arrive. Isn't that wonderful?

Our Halloween pop-up shop will be open starting October 1st until November 1st at 5413 boul. Saint Laurent, Montreal. Our hours are:

Monday to Wednesday from 11AM to 6PM
Thursday and Friday from 11AM to 8PM
Saturday and Sunday from 12PM to 6PM

Kigurumi.ca is the official Canadian distributor of authentic SAZAC kigurumi. SAZAC is Japan's number one kigurumi manufacturer, and the quality of SAZAC onesies is unmatched around the world. Unfortunately, this means that many other manufacturers will try (and fail!) to mimic SAZAC products. It doesn't take much to notice a major difference in quality between authentic kigurumi and imitators' attempts.

Fake. vs. Real: Stitch Kigurumi

For starters, imitation kigurumi are generally made of much thinner fabric--sometimes crushed velvet, which deteriorates much more quickly than fleece, cotton, and poly--and are poorly stitched together. Fakes tend to have wonky-looking faces: crossed eyes, asymmetrical features, and visible stitch defects. Colours won't be nearly as vivid, lining is often missing altogether, and features such as sleeves, tails, ears, wings, etc., will be overall much more floppy and downright sad-looking.
