CONTEST: The Pineapple Challenge

UPDATE: The winner of the Pineapple Challenge contest is...Alex W. from Montreal! He's chosen a dashing Cheetah Kigurumi Onesie as his prize. Congratulations, Alex!

Help us fight cancer - win a kigurumi onesie and support a great cause!

We're very proud to announce that Kigurumi Canada will be having fun, getting dirty, and saving lives, all while wearing kigurumi onesies, at Montreal's first Pineapple Challenge on May 5th at Parc Jean-Drapeau.

To complete a 15-stage obstacle course, all while carrying a pineapple that we can't drop!

We'll be entering two teams:
Team Kigurumi FIERCE Team Kigurumi FUN
Travis Batzer
Marc Beaupre
Tom Mallin
Brian Vermeire
Lawrence Hoo
Katrina Kato Kelly
Alexandra Lesnikowski
Maria Pham

Funds raised through the Pineapple Challenge will support research, patient services, and education.  All dollars raised for this event support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s vital mission: find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

From now until May 5th, anyone who makes a donation to one of our teams will be entered in a draw to win a free kigurumi onesie of their choice! The draw will take place on May 6th, and the contest is open to donors from all countries. Here's how to enter:

  • Step 1: Visit one of our Pineapple Challenge team pages (FIERCE or FUN) and make a donation - you'll have to keep your name public or else we won't know who you are! Every $5 you donate earns you one entry in the draw.
  • Step 2: We need a way to contact you if you win, so let us know that you've donated - comment on this post, e-mail us your contact info, comment on the Facebook event, or send us a tweet.
  • Step 3. Have FUN. Get DIRTY. SAVE LIVES
